Borussia Dortmund ‘will pull out all the stops’ to sign Pascal Groß from Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, with the midfielder having chosen the club over Eintracht Frankfurt.
That’s according to Ruhr Nachrichten, who say a deal should be agreed for a fee between €7-10m for the 33-year-old.
The newspaper explains that Borussia Dortmund are kicking on with their plans to strengthen their squad this summer, with the recent arrival of Waldermar Anton the first of many planned signings.
Striker Serhou Guirassy is also close to moving from VfB Stuttgart and Brighton’s Pascal Groß will be one after him.
Dortmund are ‘on a very good path’ when it comes to signing him, although they are not quite there yet on the transfer.
According to their information, Borussia will pull out all the stops to sign the German international, whose contract with Brighton expires next summer.
That opens the door to a potential transfer and the belief is a deal will be done for €7-10m, particularly because Groß has ‘already decided’ to join Borussia Dortmund.
He’s picked them over Eintracht Frankfurt and the relevant discussions are now ongoing to make the transfer happen to give new Dortmund boss Nuri Sahin his latest addition.
