Following Leeds United’s relegation to the Championship, a mass exodus have been witnessed at Elland Road side.

Many players have left on year-long loans that could become permanent moves, as Robin Koch isn’t expected to return while Marc Roca could also stay at Real Betis.

Another club trying to take advantage of all this are Club Brugge, as De Telegraaf report the Belgian side are eyeing up Pascal Struijk.

The Dutch newspaper explain that the Jupiler Pro League ‘will make an attempt’ to sign the 23-year-old this summer, despite the player having a contract with Leeds until 2027.

It’s explained that Brugge see Struijk as a ‘top candidate’ to become a leader in the heart of their defence, although they are still unaware of the ‘price tag around his neck’.

Therefore, they will have to come forward and ask Leeds how much they want for the centre-back, but it is added the Belgians do think they have ‘a chance to close a deal’ with the Championship side regarding the centre-back’s transfer.

Only time will tell, but it’s certainly something worth keeping an eye on.
