Bayern Munich will ‘leave no stone unturned’ to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer but want to ensure there is ‘maximum discretion’ around negotiations.
That’s according to BILD, who cover the situation today as Bayern’s upper management get set for talks with Daniel Levy today.
The newspaper explains that, as has already been reported, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and squad planner Marco Neppe are expected in London today to continue negotiations with Tottenham and Levy over a deal for Kane.
Spurs have already rejected an initial offer of €70m plus bonuses at the end of June, but Bayern’s bosses hope this latest meeting will bring the two clubs closer and convince Levy to sell.
Dreesen and Neppe cancelled their participation in Bayern’s Asian tour to Japan and Singapore at short notice so they could hold the new round of negotiations.
Talk of a cancelled flight emerged on Thursday night, but Bild still expect the meeting to take place, meaning they are likely to have been employing various methods to keep their plans under wraps after fans discovered their flights and travel dates.
The German giants ‘want maximum discretion’ around the talks as they try to secure their ‘absolute dream star’ this summer.
They will ‘leave no stone unturned’ in their attempts to sign Kane from Tottenham and bring him to Säbener Straße in the coming weeks.
