As the Spanish media continues to watch Barcelona’s hunt for Leeds United star Raphinha, they also follow the Whites’ situation in the Premier League.

So with the Elland Road side losing to Chelsea 3-0 at the Elland Road last night, it’s now claimed that this result puts the player closer to a move to the Camp Nou.

Mundo Deportivo writes that Raphinha and his agents believe relegation to the Championship would make easier his departure from Leeds.

Claiming there are no clauses in his contract, it’s said his price for his transfer would be of €25m, and even though Barcelona are known to be financially struggling, this amount is something the Catalan side ‘would welcome’.

This morning, the very same newspaper had a story claiming there are ‘advanced negotiations’ for Raphinha to switch Leeds for Barcelona, with his agent Deco handling the negotiations.

The outlet had already claimed there’s a commitment from the Whites to not block his move in case of relegation to the Championship.
