Juventus are ‘watching from a distance’ and maintain their relationship with Kia Joorabchian ahead of a possible move for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say Zirkzee is very much on the radar at the Italian club but there is no push for him at this moment in time.
They explain that Juventus are keeping their distance and simply seeing how the next month plays out, with it yet to be determined how Zirkzee could fit into Ruben Amorim’s plans at Manchester United moving forwards.
They’re certainly looking for a player who could join on loan to help fill the current gaps in their attacking options. They would also like to be prepared in case Dusan Vlahovic departs next summer.
Zirkzee would work and has a positive relationship with manager Thiago Motta that would also be another plus point in his column.
His wages at Manchester United, €5.5m gross per year, are also considered to be affordable if they were asked to pay them entirely during any loan deal and in future.
He’s under ‘serious consideration’ and Juventus are maintaining a relationship with Joorabchian, his agent, who they also worked with in the summer to sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, ahead of a potential move.
It all depends on how Zirkzee fits in under Amorim, or doesn’t, but Juventus are laying the foundations of a possible move either way.
