Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traoré has a contract expiring in June and it’s still not clear as to where he’ll play next season.

The 27-year-old has been a regular under Julen Lopetegui, who has already urged the club to make an effort to retain the winger.

Traoré hasn’t signed an extension yet and his current situation at Wolves continues to attract clubs from Europe and beyond. According to Foot Mercato, Al-Ittihad ‘want to enlist’ him in their squad in the next window, where he could end up playing against Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the event the former Barcelona man decides to leave Wolves, the Saudi Arabian club then want to tempt him to join them by offering a ‘juicy contract’, as a move to the Middle East would see the attacker earn a hefty salary.

The report doesn’t mention the Wolves player’s stance on joining Al-Ittihad in the next window. It needs to be seen whether he’ll sign a new deal at the Molineux, prefer a move to another European club or accept Al-Ittihad’s approach.

Traoré has scored three goals and registered two assists from 34 games this season.
