As AC Milan continue to be very focused on signing Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur, newspaper Tuttosport today brings the latest on this chase.
The outlet writes that the Rossoneri are expected to ‘push further’ and try to get the transfer done very soon.
They have a big boost by getting the player’s approval, as Royal reportedly gave the ‘green light’ for the transfer.
The Rossoneri’s idea is to get a discount, though, and they hope to close the agreement for between €18m and €20m. Now they can surely use the player’s wish to help with that.
Royal made 24 appearances for Tottenham last season, and his exit from the club had been rumoured for a while.
It was always made it clear he’d choose his next destination very carefully, and having AC Milan interested in him is surely an opportunity he doesn’t want to miss. Now it’s up to the clubs to find a deal.
