Bologna are waiting for Nicolas Dominguez to complete his medical at Nottingham Forest before formalising their own deal for Remo Freuler.
That’s according to Gianluca di Marzio, who reports that the swap deal between the two parties now rests solely on Dominguez passing his medical.
Nottingham Forest are set to add Dominguez to their squad on deadline day as they look to bolster Steve Cooper’s squad before the window closes tonight.
The deal will see the 25-year-old make the move to England and the plan is to send Freuler, who joined Nottingham Forest last summer but barely featured last season, he’ad in the other direction.
The deal has been progressing over the last few days and Di Marzio reports that Freuler ‘has signed’ for the Italian team.
He, and they, are ‘now waiting’ for the end of Dominguez’s medical examinations at Nottingham Forest before then formalising the deal.
It’s all positive news for Forest then, with this transfer now in the final stages and seemingly waiting on positive news from Dominguez’s medical before being boxed off ahead of the transfer deadline this evening.
