As Everton star Amadou Onana continues to be linked to some European giants, it’s time for the German media to share something on Bayern Munich’s chase for him.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg shows up to say that the 22-year-old continues to be on the Bundesliga side’s priority list.
Bayern Munich are expected to sign a new defensive midfielder in the upcoming transfer window, and that’s why the Everton player is ‘especially’ among their options.
It’s said the German giants are aware of Onana’s ‘development, quality and physical attributes’. What delays the possibility of this signing is that they need to find their new manager first, and that’s why the chase isn’t a hot topic yet.
Plettenberg also points out that it would be ‘quite expensive’ to sign the Everton star, as he’s expected to cost between €60m and €70m.
That’s the kind of investment that Bayern Munich will definitely only make once they have the approval from their new manager, so it makes sense that they wait for the new boss before they place a bid on Everton’s table.
