Discussions are still ongoing for Burnley’s Mike Tresor to head to OGC Nice on loan, with the forward yet to agree to personal terms.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reports that while Burnley and Nice have agreed on a loan with an option to buy, Tresor is yet to agree to the deal.
He adds that all the parties involved are hoping to reach the point where a green light can be given for the player to head to France.
A report earlier today indicated that Nice were working on a deal for the Burnley forward, who joined on a permanent basis from Genk for €18m this summer.
He does not appear to be a part of Scott Parker’s plans despite that price tag and Nice have stepped in to offer him a way out of Turf Moor.
Tavolieri now reports that will be in the form of a season-long loan deal with an option to buy included, something the two sides have agreed on.
Nice are yet to reach an agreement with the player on his personal terms yet, but there is hope that can be found soon and a deal done before the end of the transfer window this evening.
