As Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo today explains Sevilla’s hunt for Paris Saint Germain defender Thilo Kehrer, it sounds like the La Liga side are confident they can win this battle against West Ham United.

The report starts by recalling that the French club told a few players they must find new destinations before the end of the month, and the 25-year-old is one of them.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla have had an agreement with Kehrer for a couple of weeks, but their problem is the price requested by PSG, which stands at €20m.

Meanwhile, West Ham have been pointed out as another contender, with recent claims saying the Hammers try to ‘get ahead’ in the race.

Even though Sevilla should be worried about that, the situation still won’t make them hurry. It’s said club director Monchi has a strategy ‘to wait in order to get the best price’.

That may sound like giving West Ham a bigger chance, but the La Liga side ‘trust’ that he’d rather play for them, and would wait until PSG lower their demands.
