Turkish media outlet Milliyet have today claimed Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester United’s Scott McTominay and Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of the transfer window.
The Turkish champions have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks as they plan for Champions League football next season.
It’s been reported Galatasaray are in transfer talks with Manchester United with regards to signing the two players. An offer of €25m to sign the pair has been tabled and now the Super Lig side are waiting for a response from the English club.
Gala are hoping to take advantage of the players’ contract situation as both only have a year left. However, the Premier League side do have an option to extend McTominay’s for another year and won’t be under the same pressure to sell as with Wan-Bissaka.
Manchester United reportedly want €20m for each player and are ready to cut their losses with Wan-Bissaka, who they purchased for €55m five years ago. That seems too low for the midfielder, so perhaps it’s wishful thinking from Turkey.
McTominay made 43 appearances for Manchester United last season, whilst Wan-Bissaka made 30.
