When a club don’t start their season very well, it’s natural that most of the attention goes to the new signings who are still to show something.

This is the case of Giovani Lo Celso, who’s only made three appearances for Tottenham so far, and must prove himself so Spurs can sign him permanently at the end of the season.

This subject has been getting some attention in Spain, where, apparently, Real Betis are starting to worry about what will happen next summer.

El Desmarque writes today that the club’s intention had been to make over €60m with his sale in the last transfer window, although they accepted to loan him out for €16m with a €41m buying option.

El Desmarque talks about how bad things have been for Lo Celso in London, and claims that in case it continues like this, then Betis will have to open new negotiations to sell the player next summer.

It sounds like a long way to go, but perhaps it will help Tottenham get a discount for the 23-year-old.
