Juventus have ‘tested the feasibility’ of signing Youri Tielemans from Leicester City next summer.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say the Italian side are looking into whether they can secure the Belgian midfielder ahead of stern competition.
They explain that Tielemans is seen as an ‘opportunity’ given his contract is expiring next summer and he’s yet to sign a new deal to stop that happening.
He could be one of the ‘main bargains’ and is ‘tempting’ for several clubs around Europe, including Juventus.
There were several rumours around him during the summer, but nothing became concrete, and he ended up remaining at Leicester for the time being.
It’s not out of the question that some English clubs may look to sign him again in the coming months, or even next summer, but Juventus are also in the picture.
They’ve ‘tested the feasibility’ of a deal with Tielemans’ entourage but know that competition from the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid could present a ‘not significant obstacle’ to their hopes.
Either way, it’s bad news for Leicester as another European giant joins the queue to take their star man away on a free.
