ABC Sevilla claims Joaquin Caparros is still working in order to help Sevilla to further strengthen the squad after having signed Maxime Gonalons from AS Roma.

The La Liga club’s sports director has earlier confirmed his side have been following Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata, who has one year left on his contract with the Scottish Premiership club. The reports says the Spanish club could see a few of their first team players leave the club.

Mexican club Atlas are interested in Nico Pareja and have tabled an offer for the 34-year-old Argentine, while Daniel Carrico’s future remains uncertain as he continues to attract interest from Portugal and France.

It is the 27-year-old Celtic man who is more likely viewed as a realistic target for Sevilla as they look to add new faces to their defence, if they sanction the sale of their current players.

The former Manchester City man has not travelled with Brendan Rodgers and his men to Lithuania to face Suduva due to injury. The Celtic manager has so far not confirmed whether Boyata will be at the club or not, beyond the transfer window.

We will find in over week’s time if Celtic can retain Boyata or not.
