The Brazilian media today shares some more details of Internacional’s chase for Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa.
Globo Esporte claims the Colorado are very keen on landing the 29-year-old, who’s currently on loan at Olympiacos.
The problem is that Internacional have been ‘talking’ to the Nottingham Forest midfielder for ‘almost a month now’.
Even though they still haven’t managed to get the green light from him, it’s said there’s still hope he will end up accepting the move back to Brazil.
Nottingham Forest seem fine with a sale, with Globo Esporte claiming the Reds demand between €4.5m and €6m for the transfer.
The Tricky Trees loaned the midfielder to Olympiacos last summer, and so far, he has 422 minutes played in 11 appearances there.
Recent reports from the Brazilian media have been claiming that Atlético Mineiro are also interested in the signing, and the situation could be good for Nottingham Forest to get a better amount for his sale.
The big problem continues to be to convince Scarpa, as the player reportedly believes he can still prove himself in European football rather than return to his home country having failed to impose himself.
