Earlier this week, reports from Germany claimed that Thilo Kehrer is ‘open to leave’ West Ham United in the winter window.
It was claimed that his entourage has been sounding the market to find a club where he can play more, and Eintracht Frankfurt were ‘very interesting’.
It turns out that, according to Takvim, Kehrer may have the chance to leave West Ham for Turkish football as well.
The outlet writes that Fenerbahce added the defender to their January wish list, and have already ‘taken action’ to get the signing done.
The Istanbul club are set to contact Kehrer’s entourage ‘in the coming days’, and they’re said to be interested because of his ‘technique and superiority in aerial balls’.
West Ham spent €12m to sign the centre-back from Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2022, and Takvim highlights that he now has a market value of €13m.
The player only has 371 minutes on the pitch for the Hammers this season and with now two clubs interested in the signing, that can only be good for the London side to see a small auction for his January exit.
