Edson Álvarez left Ajax and completed a switch to West Ham United in the last window.
The Mexico international had impressed for the Eredivisie side in recent years and has been able to extend his good run at the London club, where he’s made six appearances this season.

It’s claimed the Dutch club, who have been challenging for domestic competitions over the years, have ‘suffered too much’ this season without Álvarez’s presence.
The outlet insists Ajax’s ‘complicated’ situation suggests their decision to sell him to West Ham has clearly not worked out well for them.
David Moyes’ side, on the other hand, wouldn’t be too concerned about what’s happening at Ajax and will be delighted to have added a quality player to their squad.
