For the past few weeks, various claims coming out of Italy, France and Spain have talked about Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Leeds United’s Diego Llorente, who is currently on loan at AS Roma.
Last Friday, Foot Mercato stated the Ligue 1 side are ‘well and truly’ trying to sign the 30-year-old. Two days ago, Corriere dello Sport reported new Roma manager Daniele De Rossi could be willing to let go of the defender this month.
L’Equipe mention the Leeds owned player in a report that focuses on PSG’s plans for the rest of the winter market.
Luis Enrique’s side are negotiating with Bayern Munich for Nordi Mukiele’s loan transfer. In addition to this, Cher Ndour should join SC Braga on a loan deal, while Renato Sanches, currently on loan at AS Roma, would go to Beşiktaş on a temporary deal.
With regards to arrivals, it’s claimed the French club are still ‘active’ in their efforts to sign the Spain international and Fiorentina’s Lucas Martinez Quarta.
This could be a tricky situation for PSG, considering that Roma have to first agree to cut short Llorente’s stay and then they have to agree a new deal with Leeds, all in the next few days.
