On Saturday, Record in Mexico reported Arsenal, Juventus and Atlético Madrid are all keen on signing Feyenoord star Santiago Giménez and he’ll have to make a decision on which of the three clubs he wants to join in the summer window.
This comes a day after claims from the Mexican press stated the Gunners have shown firm interest in the striker. It was also reported he has received an offer from England and there was a reasonable chance that it would have been made by Arsenal.
Claims elsewhere have talked about the Turin club and the La Liga side also tabling bids for the 23-year-old. Azteca Deportes relay it and then provide their own information on this case.
They have contacted the Eredivisie side for an update and an ‘internal Feyenoord source’ has informed them that the club haven’t received any formal offer from Arsenal, Juve or Atlético to sign the Mexico international.
The same source also told Azteca Deportes there’s been ‘no formal approach’ from the aforementioned clubs or others for the frontman.
Giménez has scored 24 goals and registered six assists from 39 games, but has failed to find the back of the net in the last five league games. The outlet says he remains focused on finishing this season on a brighter note.
