PSV Eindhoven have ‘shifted their interest’ to Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ki-Jana Hoever after being quoted €20m for Brazilian Dodo.
That’s according to De Telegraaf, who report that the Dutch side are now focused on a move for the Wolves youngster as Dodo is out of their price range.
The explain that PSV are ‘aiming high’ in this transfer window, and they had targeted Shakhtar Donetsk’s Dodo as their reinforcement at right-back.
That’s because they’ve put a €20m asking price on their man, a figure the Eredivisie club simply cannot afford.
As a result, they have ‘shifted their attention’ to Wolves’ Ki-Jana Hoever, hence reports naming him as a target over the last week.
He joined Wolves from Liverpool two years ago but has been used ‘sparsely’ by both Bruno Lage and his predecessor Nuno Espirito Santo.
That could give PSV their chance to get their man, and it seems he’s the number one target after being priced out of a deal for Dodo.
