Anderlecht are interested in a move for Tottenham youngster Romaine Mundle this summer but could face competition from Standard Liege for his signature.
That’s according to Het Laatste Nieuws, who say the Belgian side are targeting a move for the Tottenham youngster as they plan their squad for next season.
The newspaper reports that Anderlecht have ‘set their sights’ on the 20-year-old right-winger, who is set to be out of contract with Spurs in the summer.
His current deal, which he signed in May 2021 is set to expire at the end of the season and so far, there has been no suggestion he will be signing an extension.
That is something Anderlecht are aware of and want to take advantage of, with their interest in the winger ‘concrete’ at this point, according to HLN’s information.
They, though, face competition from Standard for his signature as they have also been ‘following him closely’ this season.
Mundle has been a regular for Tottenham’s U21 side this year, managing seven goals and four assists in 23 games to date and that has apparently earned him attention from Belgium ahead of him becoming a free agent.
