When Juventus decided to bring back Moise Kean on a paid loan from Everton with an option to buy that becomes compulsory if certain criteria are met, many eyebrows were raised.
Yes, the player had just enjoyed a good season at Paris Saint-Germain, but he had yet to show anything of substance with the Toffees.
The idea was for him to come back to a familiar environment, where he could thrive and develop, but Max Allegri has struggled to get him going to say the least.
It’s now reached a point where multiple reports are suggesting Juventus are trying to get out of their agreement with Everton, which might be difficult.
After all, the Toffees are getting paid €7m for the two years he is on loan there, and there could be a chance of them getting a lot more if he plays well eventually.
That being said, there are other clubs starting ti take an interest in Kean, with Torino the latest, as they prepare to lose Andrea Belotti.
Corriere dello Sport, relayed by Il Bianconero, claim the Serie A side have ‘set their sights’ on the Juventus striker should they lose their star, and the idea would be to somehow get a ‘loan with the right of redemption’ agreement with Everton.
That would mean Juventus relinquishing their current deal for the player, as well as the Toffees giving everything the green light.
The only that would happen is if Torino could give them the same amount of money as their city rivals, and that seems somewhat unlikely.
One to keep an eye on, but we wouldn’t recommend you holding your breath.
