As Arsenal and Manchester United continue to be linked to AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana, we now get to see some updates coming from Turkey.
Sports Digitale journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu is the one bringing the news, as Galatasaray seem to have joined the race for the 25-year-old.
It’s now said that the Turkish club have the competition from Arsenal, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and AC Milan for the signing.
And even though previous reports claimed it’d take around €20m to sign Fofana from Monaco, we now get to see some very different claims.
It’s reported that the French side want €35m. There could be a discount, but that is the base price to open negotiations with them.
Regarding Fofana’s salary, he’s said to be demanding a contract of at least four years, worth €6m per season.
Arsenal and Manchester United, whose interest had previously been reported, are listed among the clubs who reached out to the player already.
Now it remains to be seen which of those clubs will actually open negotiations with the Ligue 1 club.
