Spanish side UD Almería are ‘rubbing their hands’ at the prospect of bids from Burnley and AFC Bournemouth for striker El Bilal Touré.
That’s according to local newspaper La Voz de Almería, who say the Spanish club are eyeing up a potential record deal for their current star.
The newspaper explains that Almería have been keeping a close eye on English rumours regarding El Bilal Touré, who has been linked with several sides in England in the last week or so.
The latest to be added to the list are Burnley and Bournemouth, with a claim in England that both sides are ready to pay to get him ahead of the competition.
Almería would be delighted to see that happen and are ‘rubbing their hands’ at the prospect of securing another big sale after selling Darwin Núñez to Benfica for €34m in 2020 and Umar Sadiq to Real Sociedad for €20m in 2022.
They are hoping to put El Bilal Touré in that top three, perhaps even first place as they tend to ‘get it right’ when it comes to selling strikers, as their record shows.
The club are currently ‘patiently waiting’ for an offer for the player, with Burnley and Bournemouth ‘likely’ to be the first ones to make it.
