Last summer, Aston Villa allowed Oliwier Zych to join Polish club Puszcza Niepołomice on a loan deal.

The goalkeeper has kept two clean sheets and conceded 20 goals from 10 league matches and is set to finish the season at Puszcza Niepołomice.

That’s according to Meczyki.pl journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, who took to X to explain that Aston Villa have ‘agreed to allow’ the 19-year-old to continue in Poland.

Kewin Komar’s serious injury setback forced Puszcza Niepołomice to sign the Aston Villa owned player last summer.

Online, Meczyki.pl state his performances so far have convinced the Polish club to extend his stay and the Villans’ consent was needed to take this step.

It’s explained that Unai Emery’s side have now agreed to let the Poland U20 international to end this season at Puszcza Niepołomice. The website adds Zych will return to the squad in the ‘coming days’ and will start preparing for the upcoming fixtures.

Aston Villa signed the stopper from Zagłębie Lubin in 2020 for their academy and the teenager hasn’t yet made an appearance for their senior team. He has featured 26 times for Aston Villa U21s so far.
