Sofyan Amrabat’s difficult start at Manchester United may lead him out of the club just six months after his arrival, according to reports from Italy.
As outlet TVPlay today writes about Juventus’ chase for a new midfielder, they say the Moroccan player is one of the names in their list.
Manchester United currently have Amrabat loaned by Fiorentina, in a deal which includes a buying option, but since he’s ‘disgruntled’ at Old Trafford, they may choose to let him go.
It’s said it’s Amrabat himself who ‘could push’ to return to the Serie A, where Juventus would be ‘ready to welcome’ him.
In case Manchester United do approve his departure, then Juventus would also need to work on a deal with Fiorentina, as they may not be that interested in selling the player to a direct rival.
Their request for a winter sale would be of around €20m.
Since Amrabat’s arrival at the Red Devils, he has made 17 appearances, and has been a regular starter for Erik ten Hag’s side lately.
The problem is that he hasn’t able to convince when given the opportunity to, when there was hope he could help shore up his team’s performances as they started their bad run of form.
