West Ham United’s pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow today gets an interesting update from the German media.
It’s outlet Bild who feature a story about players who are about to say goodbye to the Bundesliga side. There’s a long list of departures, with many of them having stood out for the club this season.
Speaking of Sow, it’s pointed out how Frankfurt have the ‘last chance’ of making money with his sale, since his contract with the club expires next year.
As it’s mentioned that West Ham have recently shown interest in the player, it’s also claimed that the 26-year-old ‘dreams’ of moving to the Premier League.
Regarding the potential sale, Bild writes that the Bundesliga side are ‘ready to talk’ for an amount of €20m.
West Ham have been linked to Sow since December, and it’s always been claimed that the player is looking forward to the ‘next step’ in his career. With his price sounding reasonable, that sounds like a good chance for the Hammers to go and get the midfielder before the competition starts moving for his signing as well.
