Takvim report Besiktas are planning to ease the financial effect of the Coronavirus outbreak by selling their Croatian defender Domagoj Vida.

It’s reported the Turkish club are looking to get €6m from the sale of the 31 year old, with both West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United said to be interested in his services.

Along with the two English clubs, Takvim claim French side Marseille are also following the situation of the player and Besiktas are ready to listen to offers for the Croatian international.

Vida has been linked with a move to West Brom in recent weeks, with claims in the Turkish media that Baggies manager Slaven Bilic, who worked at Besiktas between 2013 and 2015, is keen to sign his compatriot.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder could be looking to strengthen his squad for next season with the Blades on their way to qualifying for Europe.

Vida’s contract with Besiktas will expire at the end of June 2022.
