Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are interested in signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi on a loan deal, ahead of the summer window

Previous reports from the English press suggested the Belgian could leave Liverpool, with claims of interest from Premier League and European clubs.

Today, Fotomac claim Fenerbahce are looking to loan the player with an option to buy and that they will open talks with Liverpool soon.

The Turkish side are in the market for a striker as they are looking to part ways with all of their current options; Mbwana Samatta, Papiss Cisse and Mame Thiam. The Istanbul side have also been linked with Crystal Place forward Christian Benteke in recent weeks.

Origi has had a disappointing season at Liverpool, scoring just one goal in 17 appearances across all competitions.

With the arrival of Diogo Jota last summer the Belgium international struggled to get games under Jurgen Klopp and may need to move to kickstart his career.

His contract at Anfield will expire at the end of June 2024.
