Jorginho has less than 15 months left on his contract at Chelsea and various reports have talked about Juventus’ interest to sign him in the next window.

Last weekend, Tutto Juve explained Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Adrien Rabiot and the Serie A side could carry out a ‘possible exchange’ involving the France international and the Blues star.

The Turin club’s interest in the Chelsea star is backed up by Sport Mediaset, who state they are ‘ready to make an attempt’ to sign Jorginho in the summer. He is the ‘most popular’ target for the Old Lady.

Jorginho was left out of the English club’s starting lineup in key fixtures recently, like the FIFA Club World Cup final and the second leg of the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid. Tuchel has left him on the bench in the last two league matches.

His recent situation, coupled with Chelsea’s ‘delicate situation’ [sanctions imposed by the UK government], could ‘prove to be a good opportunity’ for the player to leave Stamford Bridge after this season.

The Brazil-born Italy international is valued at €30m. Juve are unwilling to pay this fee and could put ‘no more’ than €10m in cash forward for the 30-year-old. They, however, could offer one of their own players as part of the deal to the FA Cup finalists.

It’s said Chelsea would be ‘interested’ in Rabiot, provided the sanctions are lifted and they are allowed to make new signings in the summer. Sport Mediaset are the second source to discuss a potential swap deal involving the former PSG man and Jorginho.

Juventus are not alone as the report states ‘keep an eye’ on Lazio, where his old manager, Maurizio Sarri, would like to coach Jorginho again.
