According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing an interest in Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala.
The Super Lig champions have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as they work intensively to strengthen their squad for next season.
Takvim today report the Nottingham Forest player is on Galatasaray’s agenda as they look to bring in a central midfielder this summer.
The Istanbul side have made it one of their priorities in this window to strengthen in this department after recently releasing Tanguy Ndombele. They had an option to make his move permanent from Tottenham, but he failed to make an impact whilst on loan with them last season.
Subsequently Gala have been in the hunt for a replacement, and it’s claimed they are set to hold talks with Mangala’s agent to discuss his situation. Tottenham Hotspur’s Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg have also been linked with a move to Cimbom.
Mangala made 20 appearances for Nottingham Forest last season but was loaned out to Lyon during the last window. He’s contracted to the Premier League side until June 2026.
