AC Milan are ‘racing against time’ to sign Patson Daka from Leicester City, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Italian outlet writes that after missing out on signing Mehdi Taremi from Porto, the Rossoneri hope to get ‘white smoke’ in talks for the Foxes’ player.
It’s said Daka is the striker ‘chosen’ by Milan and they now try all the efforts to get him from Leicester City.
The main challenge is to register him.
TuttoMercatoWeb says the deal between the clubs is pretty much ‘set up’, with a loan where the Foxes have the right to call him back.
The problem is that Daka is a non-EU citizen and would have a hard time getting a work permit so quickly.
Milan are completely focused on sorting that situation, especially because the agreement with Leicester City doesn’t seem to be a problem.
But the Rossoneri are also preparing themselves in case they don’t manage to get the signing done, and that’s why they have Torino’s Antonio Sanabria as a potential late alternative. That’d basically be their Plan C.
