Anderlecht have put Nottingham Forest left-back Harry Toffolo ‘at the top of their list’ as they look for “three to four reinforcements” before the end of the window.
That’s according to Het Laatste Nieuws, who say the Forest full-back is the main target for CEO of Sports Jesper Fredberg.
The newspaper explains that Anderlecht are looking to make reinforcements at the end of the transfer window and Toffolo ‘tops the wish list’ as they look for a left-back.
He only joined Nottingham Forest in the summer in a €2.5m deal from Huddersfield but has struggled with the step up and found himself behind Renan Lodi in the pecking order this season.
Forest are therefore open to a transfer, particularly as, according to English media, they need to thin their numbers to be in compliance with Premier League rules.
Toffolo is one of the players who could be allowed to leave and Anderlecht would be happy to take him as they need reinforcement in his position.
What they are willing to offer for him or what Nottingham Forest would demand isn’t made clear but it seems there is a deal there to be done if the Belgian side truly want it.
