Eredivisie side Cambuur are keeping an eye on Leeds United young Cody Drameh ahead of a possible move before deadline day.

That’s according to Omrop Fryslan journalist Andor Faber, who says the Dutch side ‘prey’ on the 20-year-old attacking full-back.

Faber does not offer any information on whether Cambuur are looking at a permanent transfer or a loan deal for Drameh, although we’d assume it’s the latter at this point in time.

The young right-back joined Leeds from Fulham last year and is seemingly highly thought of at Elland Road as he was an unused substitute for the 2-2 draw with Everton last weekend.

Indeed that fact, according to Faber, is a potential ‘spanner in the works’, with the belief being that he could get playing time at Leeds this season.

That makes sense given his recent appearance on the bench and the fact that the current right-backs in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad, particularly Stuart Dallas, have been used in more advanced positions by the Argentine.

That could present opportunities for Drameh and thus rule out a move to the Netherlands in the process.
