Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Daniel Podence finished the 2022/23 season with six goals from 32 league games. He also made five appearances in the two cup competitions.
The 27-year-old has now ended up on Real Betis’ agenda for the summer window, if a claim from Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepúlveda is to be believed.
He took to Twitter to reveal the La Liga side are in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Julen Lopetegui’s side over a deal for the attacker.
The Portugal international has entered the final year of his deal at Molineux.
According to Sepúlveda, Los Verdiblancos are preparing an ‘official offer’ between £7m and £10m to secure Podence’s services in this window. He further adds the next few days are ‘decisive’ for this operation.

There’s no indication if the Wolves player is interested in joining Manuel Pellegrini’s side. In addition to this, there has been no mention of any of this so far in the media local to the Spanish club.
