Gerard Deulofeu is recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered during Watford’s 3-0 league win over Liverpool at the start of this year.

Despite his current situation, the forward has been attracting interest from elsewhere, and the number of reports has increased after the Hornets’ drop to the Championship was confirmed.

On July 29th, AS explained new Valencia manager Javi Gracia is looking to reunite with his compatriot at the La Liga side.

Three days ago, Corriere dello Sport reported the former Everton man’s agent has offered him to AC Milan, where he had a short loan spell in 2017.

Celta Vigo have been added to the list of suitors, if reports from Diari de Girona are to be believed.

The newspaper states the Vigo based club are planning to shape up their squad for next season and the Watford player is ‘one of the goals’. That’s because Celta manager Óscar García Junyent has requested Deulofeu’s signing.

It’s claimed the Spanish side have ‘positioned’ themselves to take the 26-year-old on loan this summer.

Diario de Girona only focus on Celta’s desire to sign the attacker, and don’t provide any clue whether either Deulofeu or Watford are interested in this deal.
