Out of contract at the end of the season, Wilfred Ndidi is likely to be leaving Leicester City regardless of whether the Foxes get promoted back to the Premier League or not.
The Nigerian midfielder has been a loyal soldier for the King Power Stadium side over the years, and there is a feeling he will be seeking a new adventure once the campaign is over.
His next destination remains a mystery for the time being, but A Spor in Turkey reckon Galatasaray will be going after the Leicester man.
They claim the Turkish side are ‘planning to add’ Ndidi to their squad for the upcoming season on a free, taking full advantage of his contractual situation.
It’s recalled that Galatasaray were already interested in him last summer, but a deal with Leicester was never struck, and the player remained with the Foxes for their season in the Championship.
They now ‘want to sign him’ on a free, and will be able to offer him European football, since they currently sit top of the Süper Lig with nine games to go, 29 points clear of Trabzonspor in third.
The 27-year-old has been a fairly regular starter under Enzo Maresca this season when he has been fit, but missed a good two months of action between January and March, before returning in the 1-0 win over Sunderland just over a week ago.
