Galatasaray are reportedly moving to sign Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham Hotspur.
It’s Turkish outlet Sporx who today say the Istanbul club have the 27-year-old on their ‘agenda’.
The report claims that Galatasaray already made their effort for the centre-back, having placed a €9m offer for the transfer.
It sounds like Tottenham are still thinking about that, as Sporx claims the offer was put ‘on hold’ for now.
It’s pointed out that Sanchez’s contract with Spurs expires next year, so the London side may be having their last chance to make a decent amount from his departure.
The defender only made 24 appearances for Tottenham last season, with a total of 1231 minutes played. Even though he could still prove himself under Ange Postecoglou, this doesn’t seem to be the consensus, as he continues to be surrounded by rumours of a summer departure.
Reports from South America have been claiming the player has decided to leave Spurs in this transfer window, and it was even said that he was offered to Brazilian side Flamengo. Now Galatasaray seem to be placing a new option on his table.
