After an injury to Abdulkadir Omur, Trabzonspor are in the market for a winger ahead of the January transfer window and are reportedly interested in signing Hull City’s Kamil Grosicki, say Turkish website Fotospor.
The Turkish giants are currently struggling with injuries this season and along with Omur, summer signing Daniel Sturridge has also yet to play regularly for the Super Lig side.
It’s reported the club are interested in signing Grosicki, and Fotospor claim the Hull City player is also keen to join to join them in order to play in European competition.
Trabzonspor officials will reportedly open talks with both the Poland international and Hull City during the next international break as they are hoping to sign him for a cut-price fee, given his contract with the Championship side will expire at the end of the season.
However, what they’re not taking account of in Turkey is that there’s an option to extend that deal by a further year.
Grosicki is familiar to the Turkish Super Lig, having played there with Sivasspor between 2011 and 2014.
The 31 year old has been in decent form for Grant McCann’s side this season, scoring 4 goals in 8 games.
