On Thursday, La Repubblica and Gazzetta dello Sport reported Liverpool had opened up to the possibility of loaning Kostas Tsimikas to AS Roma.
The Reds had initially rejected approaches but patience from the Giallorossi has led to positive developments.

The newspaper claims Rona are ‘on the verge’ of landing the Liverpool left-back and are closing in on an initial loan move.
Contrary to what was previously suggested by Gazzetta dello Sport and La Repubblica, there is now belief that Roma will have an option to buy for around €10m.
It will be an expensive initial loan deal, which suggests that Liverpool will earn more than the €10m in the entire package.
The 29-year-old’s current contract at Anfield runs out in the summer of 2027 and he played less than 1000 minutes in the Premier League last season.
Considering his situation, it looks like a good move for Tsimikas.
