Turkish newspaper Fotomac claim Galatasaray are interested in Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and that they could offer him an escape route after being overlooked by Frank Lampard for most of the season.

The Chelsea manager has mainly used Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham ahead of him and Fotomac claim the former Marseille player is open to the idea of leaving Stamford Bridge in order to become first choice at another club.

Gala’s current main striker Radamel Falcao has been subject of interest from Saudi and Qatari clubs, and the Turkish newspaper reports they could look to replace him with Batshuayi.

The 26 year old has started just one Premier League game for Chelsea, which came against Manchester United in February, and may need to move on to kickstart his career.

He’s played 24 games for Chelsea this season in all competitions, scoring six goals. His contract with the west London club will expire at the end of June 2021.
