It’s all moving very quickly on the transfer market at the moment, and Crystal Palace are in the mix of things as they try to sign Hugo Ekitike.
The player is among those Paris Saint-Germain would be happy to let go on transfer deadline day, but they only want a sale.
That’s what the latest information received by L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi says, as the journalist took to Twitter to reveal it.
He explains that despite Crystal Palace coming forward with another offer of a loan with an option to buy, Paris Saint-Germain are not ready for the deal to just be a temporary one.
This is despite Ekitike being open to a move to Selhurst Park, but the Ligue 1 side ‘want to sell’.
PSG are not ‘waiting for an offer to buy’ from Crystal Palace for the 21-year-old, which may or may not arrive, depending on how desperate Roy Hodgson is to have him in his squad for the current campaign.
It was previously stated that the Eagles had put on the table an offer of a loan with an option to buy at around €30m, with it clear that they would want to trial him out first and see how he fares in the Premier League before lumping a big sum of money on him.
Now, we wait and see if they are ready to take the risk.
