It seems Tottenham Hotspur should indeed be concerned about Bayern Munich’s competition to sign Radu Dragusin from Genoa.
Journalist Gianluigi Longari writes on Twitter that the Bundesliga giants have finally entered the competition ‘forcefully’ and now ‘formulated a proposal’ to sign the 21-year-old.
The story does not mention how much Bayern Munich are placing on the table. It’s only claimed that there was already an agreement with Tottenham, but he gave time for the German side to make their attempt and these are now ‘decisive hours’ for his choice regarding a January departure from Italy.
The Bundesliga side’s bid is also reported by Gianluca Di Marzio. He writes that Genoa have already received the official offer, and it’s now up to Dragusin to make his decision.
So it sounds like Tottenham and Bayern are making similar bids in terms of a transfer fee, and it’s the player who’ll decide where to go to. The salary level may have big weight, but the sporting projects shown by each club will certainly count for something.
According to Sport Italia, his fate ‘seems to be in Germany’, but they offer nothing to really back that hunch up.
