All of a sudden, Liverpool could be losing Mohamed Salah to Al-Ittihad, and such an unexpected departure at the end of the summer window requires a quick response from the club to find his replacement.
Italian outlet Calciomercato today features a story about it, claiming that with the €100m fee the Reds could make with his sale, they now have a few names on their list.
Most of them have already been reported by the European media, who claimed Liverpool are watching Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane and Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.
Calciomercato’s story focuses on a third target, which is Juventus’ Federico Chiesa. It’s claimed that he’s ‘above all’ in the Reds’ list, as he has been a target for the club throughout the summer, especially early on.
The winger is said to be valued by Juventus at €60m, and according to the story, the Old Lady now ‘fear’ an assault from Liverpool in the final days of the transfer window.
It’s said that the Bianconeri’s desire is to keep Chiesa at the club, but it seems certain that if a good bid arrives, there’s a chance they will end up selling.
