Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs that follow Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi on their transfer agenda.

Earlier this month, the Serie A side’s chief, Giovanni Carnevali, admitted he has received requests from clubs abroad for the 23-year-old.

TuttoMercatoWeb relay it and state Tottenham are one of those foreign clubs to have made a request for the midfielder.

The Italy international has stated his desire to return to AS Roma, while he continues to be monitored by Spurs and others.

Despite this, the report states the Italian side don’t intend to part ways with the player in the winter market, as Sassuolo ‘does not intend to give in to the flattery’ of Tottenham and other clubs that are showing interest in Frattesi.

That doesn’t mean Sassuolo have no plans to cash in from their star’s sale. As per TMW, they will only consider offers for him next summer.

In other words, Fabio Paratici and Tottenham will have to wait until the season has ended if they wish to sign Frattesi, who has scored four goals from 15 league appearances this term, but would ideally return to Roma if he had a choice instead of moving to England.
