One of the shining lights in the early pre-season for Manchester United, Noam Emeran showed to a wider public what he is capable of doing.
However, considering the strength of the squad at Erik ten Hag’s disposal, it’s rather clear the 20-year-old will not get regular game time at Old Trafford this season.
That’s why the idea of a loan is on the table for the forward, and FC Groningen in the Eredivisie, according to RTV Noord, are one of the interested parties.
In fact, it’s stated the Dutch club are already ‘negotiating’ with Manchester United for the player, and they are ‘looking at the possibilities’ of securing a loan for his services.
Groningen have been trying to get a winger in a number of times this season, to no avail, but there is hope they can strike a deal with the Red Devils for Emeran.
However, they must first reach an agreement, and that’s what the two parties are currently working on behind the scenes in a move that could suit all parties, especially if the Manchester United youngster gets a lot of game time in the Netherlands next season.
