Sergio Reguilón is on Monaco’s list of targets for the summer as he prepares to leave Tottenham Hotspur next month.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who report that Monaco have already entered negotiations with Reguilón about a move to Ligue 1 this summer.
The Spanish full back is set to become a free agent at the beginning of next month, with Tottenham announcing this week that he would be on their list of players leaving at the end of their contract.
Monaco have wasted no time in getting negotiations underway, already entering talks with eth 28-year-old about a move.
They’re confident of getting a deal done, with Monaco having ‘privately expressed confidence’ in the last few hours that a positive outcome will be reached in negotiations.
The left-back position is a priority for the club this summer, as well as the goalkeeper department, and they’re moving quickly to get the Tottenham man.
He could reunite with former Tottenham defender Eric Dier at the club. He’s already agreed a move to Monaco from Bayern Munich this summer.
Talks are now underway with Reguilón, who may be provided with a quick chance to get his career back on track after disappointing at Tottenham.
