Manchester United fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka continues to draw some interest from Italy, and AS Roma seem quite interested in signing him.
A fresh report from CalcioMercato.it journalist Maurizio Russo has some updates on the Giallorossi’s quest for a new right-back.
It’s said that despite recent rumours about Roma’s chase for Galatasaray’s Zeki Çelik, there’s actually no agreement, as they have another top target in mind.
That’s Wan-Bissaka, who could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer. It’s only in case the deal for him fails that the Giallorossi will go after Çelic.
The Englishman made 30 appearances for the Red Devils last season, although his starting sequence also had to do with the lack of a left-back forcing Diogo Dalot to change sides, opening a spot on the right.
Italian clubs have been linked to Wan-Bissaka for a while, and it should be no surprise if some offers arrive in the coming weeks.
There also been claims in Turkey of interest from Super Lig clubs.
