Fotomac report Trabzonspor are interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Marvellous Nakamba and that they will make an offer for the 26 year old in the coming weeks.

The Turkish side have parted ways with Stoke City’s Badou Ndiaye after his loan spell came to an end, and they are in need of a central midfielder for next season. They’re also yet to replace former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, who left the club in March after terminating his contract.

Fotomac report the Zimbabwean midfielder is high on Trabzonspor’s list, and the Karadeniz Firtinasi will make a loan offer to Aston Villa.

According to Fotomac, Trabzonspor officials were closely monitoring Villa’s situation in the Premier League, and their chances of signing the player have been dented because Dean Smith’s side managed to remain in the top flight.

Nakamba, who joined Villa from Club Brugge last season, made 29 appearances in the Premier League last season. His contract at Villa Park will expire at the end of June 2024.
